Also known as Clyde’s Pride — or as Clyde himself calls it, B.A.M. (Bad A** Mulch). Our Compost Mulch is a powerful blend of our Natural Hardwood Mulch and Premium Screened Compost. The 60/40 mix combines the weed-suppressing, moisture-locking benefits of mulch with the soil-feeding properties of compost, giving your garden or landscape the best of both worlds.
Unlike traditional mulches, our compost mulch improves soil health while it protects it. As the compost component breaks down, it releases nutrients directly into the soil. This process supports stronger root systems and healthier plant growth. Meanwhile, the hardwood mulch layer helps regulate temperature, retain water, and create a clean, finished appearance.
This blend is perfect for garden beds, tree rings, shrub borders, or anywhere you want your mulch to do more than just sit there. Because it’s already partially broken down, it integrates seamlessly into the soil over time—making it an excellent option for low-maintenance, high-performance landscaping.
We make all our mulch on-site at our Middle Tennessee facility using sustainable inputs and a consistent mixing process. Every batch is fresh, balanced, and ready to work hard in your yard.
